Rosa

On this year's Mother's Day trip to The Four Seasons, I saw the Tea Room's ever-busy owner, Rosa Jaime, who very graciously came and said Hello, and even posed for this photo!

Apparently, I am not the only one who loves Rosa and her tea room.  A quick internet search showed me that the Four Seasons, opened in 2004, has been written up in several publications, including this great article in the Pasadena Weekly.

Also, I found this wonderful (although a bit fuzzy) video, from ABC 7.  While watching, I learned more about Rosa, including the fact that she was once in a managerial position at Beadles Cafeteria in Pasadena.  How about that?

  1. It's a nice portrait. Not everyone is good at portraits, you know.

    1. Wow! That's what makes it fun. My mom found her mother's silver pattern.

  5. We shared another great Mother's Day with our mothers. It's a wonderful place to sit still for a while and enjoy good company and traditional treats.
