One More Look


Here is another view of the Sierra Madre Congregational Church, opened in 1928.  Like the first shot I showed you of this building, this view is from the park, across Hermosa.  You can see a glimpse of the bell tower on the left, through the trees.  The Romanesque Revival building was designed by Marsh, Smith and Powell, who also designed the Hollywood High School building (1933).

    1. You probably have. This is the side of the building that is on the side street. I may have to do one more, one more look, so you can see the entire front of the building. :-)

  2. I've passed by that church many times, even walked around & in it, but you're photos make it seem like I'm seeing it for the 1st time - no kidding.
