Blooming

~~ The "Welcome Home" rose, in bloom ~~

I will be the gladdest thing
Under the sun!
I will touch a hundred flowers
And not pick one.

~Edna St. Vincent Millay, "Afternoon on a Hill"

(Apparently, I'm not the only one who is often unable
to pick the flowers - mine or anyone else's...)

  2. Definitely the right decision to leave that beauty right where it is. Wonderful image, Adele.

  3. There it stays, where it belongs, a sweet-smelling, yellow poem.
