Blogging While Hungry

Going through my archives, this photo from last Mothers' Day popped out at me.  These are the homemade scones that can be had at the Four Seasons Tea Room, if only one is smart enough to make a reservation.  And believe me, it is worth your time to make the reservation, head up to Sierra Madre, drink some tea (many flavors available), and get at least one of these scones.  Owner Rosa and her team will even make them to go, but I haven't done that yet.  Too dangerous.  Besides, I like to enjoy them there, in the beautiful, peaceful atmosphere of the Tea Room.  Take my advice.  Go to Four Seasons.  Get some scones.  You won't be sorry.  (Also, I was just thinking, Bon Appe-tea, but that's too corny, so I won't say it.)

    1. They really are. Especially with the homemade jam and clotted cream.

  2. Wonderful 'English' feel to this photo. It looks perfect. (Think I'll go and put the kettle on.)

    1. Well, it's meant to be an English tea. Good to know it passes the Englishman's (woman's!) test! :-)

    2. It did indeed :). Albeit I'm still an American so not sure what that does for my street cred :).

    1. Oh, so do I! Even those that aren't very good. Luckily, these are not in the "aren't very good" category.

  4. Ooh, did you say tea and scones? Can I crash the party? Lovely image, makes me want some tea myself, strangely:)
