Bicycle Moment

When the spirits are low, when the day appears dark, when work becomes monotonous, when hope hardly seems worth having, just mount a bicycle and go out for a spin down the road, without thought on anything but the ride you are taking

~~ Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

  1. Ain't it the truth? Just put down the pen and paper and go for a walk.

    1. Thank you, LOL! What was fun, too, was that the kids left the bikes sitting there, and they were playing on the stage at the bandshell. It was cool... :)

    1. Thanks! Yes, it is Wistaria Day today. I'm missing it, too. Probably get drummed out of the bloggers club for that one... I've had the stinking flu since forever, and just don't have the energy to go up there. :(

  8. I had that flu. 3 rounds of it including two visits to the urgent care facility. OMG it's a b!tch!!!. Landed in my ear - thought I was going to loose my hearing in one ear. Finally bounced back. Next time I'm getting the shot.

I hope you start to get better soon. Might be wise to get on antibiotics - but make sure your drinking cranberry juice.

    1. Listen to PA, Adele, this year it's a bad one. You shouldn't still be sick.

    2. Thanks, Ladies. Wow, PA! That sounds awful!! I actually did go to the dr., and it is a viral thing, so I have to just wait it out. I'm being a bit dramatic to say I "still have it." It's definitely getting better, and the fever is now gone. I am just still coughing quite a bit, and completely exhausted! I did a mini-walk this evening. Seemed to go okay, so I'm going to try something a bit more energetic tomorrow.
