The Halloween Squirrel

So... you know how there are these beings that come to your house at different times of the year, and leave nice things for you?  I'm referring to, for instance, Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy, among others.

Those guys are very flashy, showing themselves all over town, and getting tons of press.  Today I discovered a little-known character, an unsung hero who comes to your house at Halloween Time and decorates things in a super-spooky way.  I'm talking about The Halloween Squirrel.  Last night, we caught him dead to rights (whatever that means), helping a local family with their decorating.  See him there, hiding in the shadows in the upper left-hand corner?  Sorry it's a little blurry...  I had to act fast, as he was almost finished skillfully applying this spider-webbing, and was getting ready to move on to the next house.

Somebody give Hallmark a call.  Now that the word is out, all you other holiday icons better look out, because this little guy's about to give you a run for your money.

  4. What a tricky little fella! I think he was in my yard earlier today but Tommy scared him away before he could decorate.
