Mysterious Goings-On

I think that something is being filmed in town today.  I'm guessing I'm right, based on the happenings in both parks yesterday, as well as at Sierra Madre Elementary's upper field.  My evidence is that, as a rule, we do not have giant spheres-in-cages in Memorial Park, nor do we usually have a very large above-ground pool at the school.  Also, the large filming trucks, and overnight security guards tend to be a dead giveaway.

So what exactly is happening??  My super-sleuthing skills (i.e., I read the Sierra Madre e-blast) tell me it's a pilot for a new reality show called Money Box, and they are inviting people to come down and be audience members, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Memorial Park.  Filming is set to wrap at about 1:00 at Sierra Vista Park, with a stop at the school in between.  Most importantly, the first 50 people get a gift certificate for a free yogurt!

Man, again with the pesky job, getting in the way of my sitting around, watching filming and eating yogurt all day!  (Oh, and bonus for them.  It's meant to cool down tomorrow, so the filming group won't perish from So Cal Fall Heatstroke!)

  4. Except. Reality show. Do you think you would really want to see it? Not that I'm judging!

    1. Hmmm. That is certainly a point to ponder. But I'm a sucker for filming, no matter the genre, so I'd have wanted to be there!

    1. There are certainly times when I'm way more excited about the process than the product! What? No yogurt? We will just have to restrict our get-togethers to Lucky Baldwin's!

  6. Rats. I missed it. Of course I have a pesky job too so I would've missed it anyhow. And I like yogurt!

    1. So sorry I just saw this! We'll just have to wait for it to come to tv. Meanwhile, yogurt is all over the place, for a small fee. :-)
