Making Things Perfectly Clear

Have you ever gone hustling up to a stand-alone mailbox with a last-minute, all important, something-or-other, only to find that the box was emptied by your friendly neighborhood Letter Carrier only five minutes earlier?  I have always had difficulty remembering what time these boxes get emptied. Four O'Clock?? Two O'Clock on Saturdays???

Apparently, the Post Office now has a system for alleviating this type of suffering, and I'm all for it.  From here on in, I'll be hard-pressed to forget the pick-up time.

  2. Yes! I can never remember those darn pick-up times, ever! Glad it's not just me :) Now how to convince our local post office to try something similar...

  3. Boy, that bring back endless memories of having to go down to the main Post Office on Colorado Blvd for my Grandmother (Bless her) to get that 'letter to a friend' on its merry way.

    1. Oh, those letters to a friend - my Grandma always had one of those! Also, I used to always have to run to the Lincoln post office when I was younger, because they were open until 8:00! :)
